This week I started working on the flowers and bushes in the foreground. As I move forward and add the brillant yellow flowers it seems to be coming alive. Let me know what you think...

Working forward to achieve my distance. Can't wait to start putting in the yellow flowers which will brighten my painting and hopefully make it come to life.

I am currently working on a 16x20 painting of Mt. Shasta. I took this photograph last June just north of Weed on Hwy 97. This is a burn area where the yellow flowers have more than made up for the fire damage by creating an awesome site.
