Working forward to achieve my distance. Can't wait to start putting in the yellow flowers which will brighten my painting and hopefully make it come to life.

I am currently working on a 16x20 painting of Mt. Shasta. I took this photograph last June just north of Weed on Hwy 97. This is a burn area where the yellow flowers have more than made up for the fire damage by creating an awesome site.

Swedish Rooster

Finally finished this Rooster painting last week but no time to post. I will be showing it in the Sagebrush show at the Running Y in Oregon on Jan 30th. Framed 16x20 original oil painting. $450.00

Trying another style of painting for this rooster. A little more realistic. I prefer wild and crazy but this is nice too.

Today I am working on an oil painting of a Swedish rooster and hen. I have completed the background and will start the rooster when the background is dry.

Today I worked on the background and I believe that this may be the finished product.

Thanks, Susan, for all your help and encouragement. It is definitely different working with such small brushes.
